You will benefit from our Kin One mentorship program run by our students for first year undergraduates, and you will get the chance to be involved in our HK Student Society or Kinesiology Graduate Student Association.?You can even join the University of Windsor Kinesiology team to compete at the National Kinesiology Games annual competition.

Whether you are looking for an opportunity to attend a sporting event or work in the field of recreational, amateur, or professional sport, opportunities abound.?The city of Windsor borders Detroit, Michigan and the University of Windsor is located at the Canadian base of the Ambassador Bridge which connects Canada and the United States. Detroit is home to nearly every major professional sport team (NFL, NHL, NBA and MLB) and Windsor抯 location puts it equal distance from other major North American cities including Toronto (ON), Chicago, Indianapolis, and Columbus which are all within a 4 hour radius.

Students can apply into our co-op program after first year, obtain volunteer or paid experience with one of our varsity athletics teams, receive credit for an undergraduate thesis under the supervision of one of our faculty, and/or complete an internship at either the undergraduate or graduate level to gain hands-on experience working in the field.

Doctor of Philosophy in Kinesiology - Campus

Not only are students engaged by professors who are experts in their respective fields, but they are also aided by way of volunteer experiences and presentations from exemplary sport industry professionals.
